A great deal of my artwork is inspired by my love of the Caribbean.  Living in the center of the United States for so many years has given me a greater appreciation for the exotic beauty of the tropics.  Now that I am fortunate to spend more and more time in the islands I try to express and share some of what I experience both above and below the water through my paintings and photography.

I work in watercolor, acrylic, pastel, colored pencil, marker and mixed media and the more vibrant the colors the better.  The undersea world is also fascinating to me which explains why the majority of my photography is done underwater.  Even when I create and design jewelry I am often reminded of the colors or the creatures I encounter in the Caribbean.
